A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2025-2026 school year in a K-12 setting located in Fairhope, AL. This contract role involves serving multiple schools across a range of grade levels, focusing primarily on early childhood through 6th grade. The assignment offers a dynamic caseload with opportunities to support students across several campuses, including daycares, elementary, and middle schools.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students from preschool (3 years old) through 6th grade.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with student needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student communication goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with professional and district standards.
Qualifications
- Valid Professional License or Educator Certification in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working with children ages 3-12 in a school or educational setting preferred.
- Ability to manage caseload across multiple schools and varying age groups.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Flexibility and collaboration skills to assist additional campuses if schedules permit.
Location: On-site in Fairhope, AL.
Contract Duration: Immediate start through May 20, 2026.
